How does the booth work?

Step inside, when you are ready, our on-site attendant will start your photo shoot.
The booth will show a video preview so that you can strike the perfect pose with a
5 second countdown before each photo. It will automatically take 4 consecutive photos,
and about 30 seconds later your print is ready!

I have never seen an attended photo booth at an event, what can I expect?

A photo booth really brings out the fun side of the guests. Our experience is that people of all ages enjoy their time in the booth, not only younger generations. It is also the simplest means for creating tangible memories that you and your guests will get a copy of.

What style is your booth?

Our booth is an Open Air style. This allows our booth to handle 15 – 20 people at once with no problem. An open air style draws 30% more participation than an enclosed booth. Wait times are much shorted because of easy access. People with disabilities like the elderly have no issues in using this type of booth. The booth is part of the entertainment for those sitting nearby.

In what format do the pictures print?

We have two options to choose from.

4 x 6 image

One is a 4×6 print with a custom design to suit the theme of the event.

The other is a photo strip similar to what would print in an automated photo booth like the ones found in malls.
All orders with strips come with 100 plastic insert sleeves to be given out with the pictures. These make for great bookmarkers.

What is the difference between choosing the photo strip or the 4″x6″?

This really is a matter of preference The photo strip option prints two copies of a photo session, which you can choose to give both away to the guests, or if you choose the scrapbook option, one copy for the guest and one copy for your scrapbook. The 4″x6″ option can be customized to
include a design with event information. You can choose to add the name of the occasion and the date in the layout. The 4″x6″ is also well-suited for corporate clients who book the photo booth for promotions and want the custom design to include their logo.

How does the scrapbook option work?

If you select our ‘scrapbook’ option: During your event, we’ll put a copy of each photo into a 12″x12″ album for you. The scrapbook works as well with 4″x6″ layout or photo strips. Your guests will have an opportunity to write a message. By the end of the night, you’ll have a beautiful
keepsake of your event!


How can I find out if DDM Photo Booth has an opening for my event date?

Simply call or e-mail us and we will get you that information. All dates are considered open until we receive the deposit for a booking.

What do I need to do to book you for my event?

We require a signed contract and a $300 non-refundable deposit to secure your date.

I want to book the photo booth for an outdoor event, can this be done?

Absolutely. The booth only has two basic needs: power, and shelter from the elements. We also rent a tent and generator if necessary.out door tent

What do I need to know when planning for the photo booth setup before my event?

Prior to the event date, we will discuss the location of the booth at the event, and as of what time we can set up the booth.

How can I pay?

We accept e-transfer, cash or cheque

Is there a travel fee?

A travel fee is applicable to events over 100km away from Windsor. This covers Essex County with no travel cost.

Will my guests have to pay to use the booth?

Absolutely not! Our rental fee covers full operation of the booth for the duration of your rental time. All your guests have to do is enjoy the fun!

How many photos are we allowed to take at our event?

As many as you can squeeze in! There is no limit on the number of booth sessions.

Do I get all the pictures after the event?

Yes we can give you a USB of all the images and they will also be posted in our gallery for at least 3 months after.

Can I provide my own scrapbook?

Sure! If you’d prefer to choose your own supplies you can do so, however to avoid our scrapbook fee, you would also need to provide a person to assemble the book for you.

Can I provide my own props?

Yes you can! If you’d like to bring your own props, that is 100% OK.

Can the gallery be password protected?

Yes, the choice is yours as to wether your event in the gallery is open or password protected.
